  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapy designed to help people process traumatic memories. Instead of just talking about what happened, EMDR uses bilateral stimulation — like guided eye movements — to help your brain reprocess distressing experiences so they lose their emotional charge. It's particularly effective for PTSD, childhood trauma, accident or medical trauma, and chronic stress. Many clients notice meaningful shifts in fewer sessions than traditional talk therapy.
